Vocation

The Lord Sets the Solitary in Families.”–Psalm 68.6

Concordia Lutheran Church is a Church Family, made up of individual families, coming together in a whole concert of vocations to support, encourage, and pray for one another.

It begins with worship, which is not just for women; not just for Moms and Dads and big people. It’s for you and for your children. You learn to know your sin and to know Christ your Savior. You grow in faith toward Him and in fervent love toward one another.

It continues in the home, where you nourish Christian faith through meditation on the Word of God and prayer. It continues in the Sunday School, where you learn that the Bible’s stories are really about the Lord Jesus and His relationship to you through His grace.  In Confirmation Classes, you learn the Bible’s teachings in detail.  Into adulthood, you find opportunities to build friendships and strengthen them– not only through common interests, but common faith.

Every soul is precious. The whole Church comes together in support of each one. What’s really happening? The Lord sets the Solitary in Families. For direction for your faith and life, and for those you love, you are warmly invited to be part of it!
